Presenter Information

Oral Presentations:

A computer with pdf-viewer and powerpoint, a video projector and presentation tools will be available at the venue. Please upload your slides to indico in advance and appear at least 15 min early to your session in order to introduce yourself to the session chair. Guidelines for the file upload on indico can be found further below

If you don't want to make your slides publicly available on indico you can bring the file for your talk on a USB stick. Please take care of transferring your files to the computer at least 30 min prior to the start of your session.

The use of personal laptops is discouraged as this usually results in a longer switchover period between talks. Exceptions should be requested before 9^th of May by replying to this email.

As we have a busy schedule, please keep your time!

Poster Presentations:

Poster sessions take place in the evenings of Monday and Tuesday. Poster boards will only be made available for the poster sessions due to space constraints at the venue. Please hang-up posters in the time between the last coffee break and the start of the poster session and remove your poster immediately after the end of that day.

Nonalcoholic drinks, craft beer from the Brauwerk and snacks will be served during the poster sessions.

If you want to make use of our poster printing service, please upload your poster to your contribution on indico (as described below). If you do not wish to make your poster publicly available you can submit it like a proceedings contribution. If the file size is not exceedingly large you can also send it by email to: psas2018@oeaw.ac.at

If you have a server where you can make you poster available for download please just send the link via email.

Your poster will be available for pick up at the conference desk for a fee of 25 Euro.

 

File upload Guidelines:

To upload your slides, poster, and/or abstract to your contribution on indico you can select your contribution either

form the list of contributions: https://indico.cern.ch/event/671322/contributions/

or in the time table (by choosing "Detailed view"): https://indico.cern.ch/event/671322/timetable/#all.detailed

Make sure your are logged in! Check in the top right corner, where your name should appear.

Go to the detailed view of your contribution by:

- clicking on your contribution's title (blue) in the list of contributions or

- clicking you contribution in the time table and then click the right top corner in the appearing pop-up

  

At the right bottom you can add material to your contribution
